“ Thought this place might be related to Vince's spaghetti in Ontario California, but it wasn't. But it was very good, the food tasted fresh and you definitely got the feeling of an Italian restaurant inside. We ordered marinara spaghetti with a meatball, a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and green peppers. The pizza was above average good, better than most places. Plenty of toppings and the crust tasted fresh. The spaghetti was very good, the sauce was good and they put plenty of it on the noodles. We also ordered a kids pepperoni pizza and kids ravioli. Both were good and for $7.99 it was worth the price. The service was friendly and helpful. The waitress made sure my ice tea was full, which is a huge plus for me. ”
“ I grew up enjoying special family dinners at the Vince's in Rainier Beach. It was amazing. I was really sad when that location closed. So my BF and I checked out the Federal Way location after many years of missing Vince's. It was still wonderful! Same tablecloths, family-friendly environment, same delicious meatballs, etc. Granted I'm nostalgic about it, but I love this place. ”
“ Vince's is a nice, basic Italian restaurant. The decor is Italian-cute, and the food is pretty good but it is decidedly southern Italian grandma basic. (This chain Buca de Beppo but less spicy.) At some point I'll try the pizza and hope it's special. Servers are nice but don't go out of their way for things I'd expect like water refills or checking on customers. (If it isn't revenue producing I guess it's not happening.) We had a table of two for lunch the other day, and the bill with tax was just over $60. I put down a $100 bill and the server actually asked me if I needed change. I'm sorry I was a bit incredulous- you took an order and delivered my food and think I'm leaving more than a 65% tip? While I pride myself on being a good tipper for good service, that's pretty optimistic for minimalist service. I left a standard 20% - what I leave for average care. ”
